PROJECT BRIEF

When a major publicly trade company on the Toronto Stock Exchange wanted to understand how to grow its business in the Middle East and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), AAG undertook a detailed market assessment and identified a range of strategic business opportunities that could be pursued to suit their risk target. AAG put together a team that had a deep understanding of the company’s business globally, but also global and local industry knowledge, insights and supply chains. The team leveraged its existing clients and contacts within a target market to help the client understand the marketplace and culture of doing business, strengthen relationships, and bid on major government tendered and sole source projects.

THE RESULT

Working closely with the client, AAG developed and helped execute their GCC business capture plan and go-to-market-strategy and assisted with hands-on business development, sales, marketing and government relations support – the client successfully secured new sales in 14 months.
