Wilson Pearce, Director (non-executive)
Wilson Pearce is Vice President of Local Governance and Economic Development with Cowater International based in Ottawa, Canada.
Wilson has counselled senior executives in more than a dozen major transformations and is an expert in developing and delivering large-scale business transformation programs, as well as, critical public and private sector institutional reform projects.
Throughout his career, he has worked with CEOs and top teams to deliver substantial improvements in clients’ revenue, share prices, and customer satisfaction. At the same time, he has helped clients to strengthen employee engagement while deepening collaboration across all business lines. He has also helped Canadian and foreign companies expand their footprint into new international markets.
Wilson contributes his extensive experience in a wide range of projects in sub-Saharan Africa, Europe, the Middle-East and Asia. He has worked with governments; critical infrastructure sectors, including utilities and railroads; high growth industries; information and communications technologies, aerospace, aviation and defense organizations.
Throughout the years, he has accrued expertise in business and product development, having managed international revenues from $10M to $700M per annum. He is also experienced in contracts and negotiations with clients in North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Latin America. Furthermore, he has built and managed global sales and support teams for consulting, software and concession contracts and has completed exclusive M&A work, particularly with capital funding and marketing plans.
Wilson’s recent projects have included helping clients increase international market share, improve organizational performance, transform culture and develop strategic partnerships.
Wilson has been engaged as a senior executive with a range of companies, with assignments including a role as Chief Executive Officer for Proiam Inc, Chief Operating Officer for the Postea Group, as well as for ING Robotic Aviation, Regional Vice President for Canada Post International, and Vice President of Business Development for the Esher Group, plus Emergency Parts Logistics.
Wilson earned an MA in International Political Economy and International Business from the Norman Patterson School of International Affairs at Carleton University. He holds a BAH in Commonwealth Studies from Queen’s University.
Outside of AAG, Wilson is the founder of Pangaea Global Trade Services (PGTS INC) and board member of Emergency Parts Logistics.
