Songül Arslan is a Senior Consultant with AAG based in the Hague, the Netherlands where she provides clients with strategic advice on global market expansion, geopolitical and country risk management, government relations, and B2B/trade mission activities.

Ms. Arslan also provides international consulting services and hands-on assistance to private (SMEs/multinationals) and public sector clients.

She specializes in international business development, strategy and stakeholder relations with a focus on Europe, the United States, Canada, and Brazil. Ms. Arslan has experience with advising on trade barries and impediments on the international market and with economic diplomacy.

Ms. Arslan draws on a wide range of experiences varying having worked for the private sector as an international and financial consultant as well as for the public sector, having worked as a representative for the Dutch government at the Foreign Economic Relations Department.

Her past experience has been focused on supporting the expansion and entry of Dutch companies doing business in the United Kingdom, Ukraine, Central and Eastern Europe and the Balkan region.

She also held positions in Belgium and Spain, and has experience working in the financial industry in the USA. Fields in which she holds knowledge are the fields of oil and gas, energy, renewables, agriculture, financial services and banking, international relations and international governmental affairs, communications and media.

Ms. Arslan holds Master’s degrees in International Business Administration, in Economics and in International Relations. She is also PRINCE2 certified. She speaks fluent English, Dutch, German and Turkish, and is professionally proficient in Spanish and French.
